About eight months ago I ran my first 5k. I did it in about 28 mins. I thought I was going to die since I hadn't ran before that in years. Since then I have done a few more and improved my times considerably and even got a top three in my age group. Basically, I really enjoy getting out on the road and running and seeing my times get better, my health improve, and meeting new people at the events. I had to have a minor operation in August so I had to take two months off. Thankfully, I am back at it again and trying to make up for lost time.
